go green- but not psycho

The social issue I would like to look at is this whole “green phenomena”. First I would like to state that I am all for a clean environment. I enjoy doing things out side, walks in the park, swimming in the ocean, just being outside! Now that I have stated that I would like to address the overboard attitude some are taking about the subject. This world has been here for thousands of years and it will still be here long after are names are forgotten. People who believe they are more powerful than nature and that they can destroy something that GOD has created are just delusional. I believe we were put on this earth to enjoy it and be good stewards but you don’t have to go around “hugging trees”. Remember Al Gore going around saying that the world is going to burst into flames (and it will be all are fault)? GIVE ME A BREAK! As a society, we are not perfect but we have made progress in preserving our environment. So recycle or don’t recycle, live your life and don’t fall for the “guilt trip” some extremist are trying to put on you. Remember GOD is in control!

From what I have read and heard about regarding the BP oil spill a lot can be said. This will effect the environment, gas prices, and hopefully the proficiency of the businesses that are responsible for the oil industry. I read about the government was going to put together a committee to investigate the circumstances around the oil spill. The headline stated that they were going to be looking for criminal actions that may have occurred. So I guess this is some sinister plot and not just an accident. I think the politicians are just posturing themselves ( to make it look as they care). I wounder how much money this will take and the amount of time? Shouldn't those resources and time be spent fixing the problem? BP will have reprocusions, for example boycotts and falling stock prices. Just a reminder people (s--t flows down hill) we the consumer will probably end up paying for this misfortune. I would suggest that nobody jump to any conclusions because the view will slant to which ever way the reporting forces believe.

Al and Tipper Gore announce their separation. OK where to start with this one! Like no one seen this coming? Are the Clintons next, that probably depends on how long they plan to stay in politics. The news article was posted June 1, 2010 by the associated press and I found it on line. The short article said they emailed their friends to inform them of the situation (I find this very humorous, the method of communication not the separation). I personally think a lot more political couple are together and stay together for the sake of the polls. Maybe people in a political office have more forgiveness when there husband is caught in the act of adultery and try to lie there way out at first, but then makes the “necessary apologies”. It is hard to believe that people are that gullible. My hypothesis on the Gores is that it has been over for some time now and the inability to advance politically says to me they are finally saying that now we can get away from each other.
